So!.. I have some exciting news....!!!!

Just spent the weekend in Melbourne for the APPA Awards... Had an awesome time being constantly inspired by so many of the amazing images being entered into all of the categories. There is alot of talent in Australia! So after much fun over the weekend I thought I would share 3 of the images I entered into the awards. This project was a personal one with many thanks going to contributors Karissa, Mike, Sharne, Bianca, Clint, Dave, George Wu, Lauren, Eliza and Megan my wonderful team of Hair, Makeup, Stylists and Models!

I was also fortunate enough to be awarded Runner Up - Australian Fashion / Advertising Photographer of the Year 2007.

This collection was recently shot for Juli Grbac. An amazingly talented young designer that has just opened shop in the TCB Building in the Valley. Go and check her stuff out! She does gorgeous evening wear as well but this bridal collection is just beautiful!

07' Update...

So... 07' has been crazy so far and I just realised I haven't updated this blog since New Years which is really slack considering all of the exciting stuff that's been happening!

A quick re-cap for you all...

In Feb both myself and Ryan spoke at Hair of the Dog Convention in Brissy... That was a great, full on weekend with heaps of awesome speakers that had alot of inspiring things to say. After that Ryan and I went to Phuket in March to shoot a wedding... that was amazing. It was my first overseas trip which was great, but we did manage to relax just a little bit in between as well. The wedding was an absolutely beautiful day in all, the couple were great... it was just the extreme heat that got to us over there!!! But hey! I no complain! :0)

So then it was back to work for me.. planning APPA entry shoots etc... also doing another round of Lo'real Colour Trophy entrys for some fabulous salons in Brissy as well as planning my move to Sydney! Just had my birthday on Good Friday... so it was nice to have a few days off to chill out around that time... But as always, with time off comes loads of work when you get back!!! So while working through the night for the last few weeks and trying to stay sane!.. I thought I'd show you a little of my new work.. Love to hear some comments.. thanks to Veronica who left pretty much THE BEST comment ever on here the other day! I appreciate it!

New Years in Sydney...

Just spent 9 days in Sydney visiting Ryan... this is a shot from new years. Had lots of fun water skiing, relaxing, sleeping in, parting and trying to fit in a bit of work in between. Love summer! Back home now and Ryan has just landed in London for 3 and a half weeks. Looking forward to an interesting, busy and action packed 07'... More new shots to come very soon! Jx
